There must be a reason for not allowing NGOs to distribute directly, we have heard news of duplication of efforts and the materials reaching one part and not reaching others. Is this because the Govt wants equitable distribution of relief material, lest we go the Thai way of material not reaching the affected?
If I am right we are doing all work in consultation with Govt. authorities and the family building kits are being put together taking into consideration what people need in different locations.
Let us put the kits together and hand it over to the authorities for distribution or if we are allowed to do it let us do this.
