CLUB MEETING - DEC 29th 2014

The club held its AGM on the 29^th at the Boat Club. A very well attended meeting where we adopted the updated By-Laws and passed the accounts. Incoming President, Sanjay introduced his team of office bearers and also outlined the discussions held at the Pre PETs.

The club unanimously elected the treasurer for 2015-16 as Rtn. Velu Muthu and President Elect for 2016-17 as Rtn. Ravikrishnan.

All the best to the 2015-16 team. Congratulations to Rtn. Ravi Krishnan on being elected as President Elect Nominee. We can be assured of a few great years of Rotary under the two incoming leaders.

SPEAKER MEETING - DEC. 5th 2014

Rtn. Velu Muthu, took on the responsibility of explaining the By Laws to the members and took in views to incorporate them into and updating the By Laws.

A well attended meeting with members getting to discuss a very important subject. The new members got the opportunity to learn of the By-Laws of the club and understand the rules that bind our working.

CLUB VISITS - TIRUPATI FOR DARSHAN - NOV 14. 2014

On Nov. 14, 24 members and Annes, went to Tirupati for a Darshan facilitated by Rtn. Ravikant. The early morning darshans, were truly spiritually and mentally uplifting.  

 The bonding created during this outstation trip was unparalleled.

ROTARY NEXTGEN CRICKET CUP - NOV. 8,9. 2014

The first cricket event by R.C.M.Nextgen, had us playing against RC Galaxy at the YMCA grounds Nandanam.

Scoring 100 runs after losing 5 wickets, the RCCK team won the first match by 26 runs. Annet Rohan, being the hero of the match, making 50 runs and taking the max wickets. 

In the next round, RCCK lost to the winners of the tournament, RC Cosmos. The team put up a very strong challenge with Rtn. Sai Venkat even fracturing his finger while trying to take a catch.

The surprise performer was Anne Payal, who batted, bowled and fielded like a star.
