ON 6th Aug., RCCK worked with the
District on the state level Blood Donation drive – Be Positive. The event held
at the Honda facility, with participation from Writer and Toll, all operating
out of Sai's warehousing park, saw over 140 participants volunteering to donate
blood. However, many were rejected on various grounds, biggest being low
hemoglobin in girls, on account of iron deficiency.
Finally we
collected 95 units against a target of 100. This was the highest in Region 11
of the district.
