Chip's new pen friend?

This boy lost his right arm at the age of 18 and reminded Chip so much of himself. Chip gave him a pen and asked him to stay in touch.

It was a very emotional moment for Chip, he said that the boy reminded of him of his losing his hand at around the same age. Posted by Picasa

In the foreground is a toilet which has now been abandoned because of unsanitory conditions. On an inspection I found that even earlier there could not have been much sanitation here. Flood relief

The RC of Chennai Kilpauk stepped in to provide relief to those affected by the recent floods in the city. Over 1000 sheets were distributed to the poor and needy in the area of Velacherry -Periyar Nagar. The effort was supported by the Chennai police who not only helped us identify the locality and the people but also in making the arrangements for distribution.
